In the last a hundred years, film and television has become a central part of global culture. It is an art form - from the early stages of idea generation to the final piece – and is by far one of the most influential platforms in the world. The stories conveyed through screen have captured the attention of millions, providing entertainment like no other, all from the ideals and vision of a single person. Films can have a drastic outcome and can help shape the way an audience perceives the world and the face of a society, which personally I think is enough of an incentive to have a career in film.
